About
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Senior Piano Professor, graduated from the “Luis Gianneo” Conservatory in Mar del Plata.
Disciple of Maestro Manuel Rego for 10 years.
Studied for 8 years with Carmen Scalcione de Amicarelli (direct student of Vicente Scaramuzza).
ADVANCED STUDIES IN EUROPE
Student of Fausto Zadra at the International Piano School in Rome and in Lausanne (Switzerland).
Studied with Louis Hiltbrandt (Geneva Conservatory).
Recipient of a Mozarteum Argentino scholarship for advanced studies in France with Marc André and Jean-Marc Luisada (École Normale de Musique de Paris).
ARTISTIC ACTIVITY
Extensive experience in solo recitals and chamber music performances in venues throughout the country.
Appearances on Radio Nacional, Radio Municipal, Radio Clásica, and Argentine television channels.
Participated in concert series organized by the Jockey Club of La Plata (complete Beethoven sonatas).
Collaborations with the string quartet and chamber choir of the University of Mar del Plata.
INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCES
Recitals in Italy: People’s University of Rossano, Centro Attività Musicale of Cosenza, and Stagione Concertistica di Cosenza.
Concerts with violinist Mauro Tortorelli in various Italian cities.
Recitals in Zurich, Basel, and Ligertz (Switzerland).
Recital at the Kaunitz Palace in Prague (Czech Republic), invited by the Argentine Embassy.
Performance in Switzerland with the Moscow Quartet, featuring works by Mozart and Piazzolla.
TEACHING ACTIVITY
Professor at the “Manuel de Falla” Superior Conservatory of Music (Buenos Aires).
Gives masterclasses and courses on piano technique based on the Scaramuzza – Zadra – Scalcione school.
Currently provides private instruction in piano mechanics following the same approach.
INSTITUTIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITY
Founder of the National Piano Competition “Ciudad de Necochea” (1990).
Artistic Director of the “Manuel Rego” Tribute Competition, created by him, whose second edition will take place in 2025.
JURY MEMBER IN COMPETITIONS
Young Performers Competition “Provincia de Neuquén”.
“María Rosa Oubiña de Castro” Award 2022 (Mexico edition, organized by the Centro de Estudios Pianísticos – CEP).
